Terms of use

Last updated: 26 July 2026

What these terms cover

These terms govern use of the public cognitionhub.com website, its membership waitlist, available application forms, published profiles and confirmed public event or benefit information. They do not themselves create a paid membership contract.

Membership waitlist

Joining the waitlist records your interest only. It does not guarantee acceptance, create a membership or account, or start a payment or subscription.

Applications

Submitting an available application starts a review only. It does not guarantee approval, create an account or entitle an applicant to access. CognitionHub may accept or decline an application in line with the published eligibility and Network standards.

Displayed membership prices

Displayed paid membership prices are monthly and exclude VAT. The website does not take payment or activate a subscription. Full service, payment, renewal and cancellation terms will be supplied before any paid membership is activated.

Network conduct

Anyone taking part must act honestly, respect confidentiality, avoid harassment and avoid misrepresenting experience or outcomes. Information shared in a private space must not be copied, exported or republished without permission.

Experts and Bench Operators

Experts and Bench Operators must describe credentials and services accurately. Pitching, bulk outreach, scraping and treating the Network as a lead list are prohibited. Bench Operators never receive member contact details and may be terminated immediately for charter breach. Bench Operators are also bound by the Operating Bench terms at /operating-bench/terms. Expert and Bench Operator engagements follow their own commercial terms; CognitionHub does not promise outcomes.

Events and member benefits

Event access, prices and member benefits apply only where they are expressly published and confirmed. Separate eligibility, availability, cancellation and third-party terms may apply.

Information and outcomes

We take reasonable care to keep public information current, but event details, benefits and external links can change. Peer contributions reflect personal experience and are not a substitute for legal, financial, tax, medical or other regulated professional advice. No contribution or introduction guarantees an outcome.

Website content

Unless stated otherwise, CognitionHub owns or is licensed to use the website copy, brand assets, images and other published materials. Third-party names, profiles, logos and materials remain subject to their owners' rights. You may not reproduce or commercially exploit website materials without permission or another lawful basis.

External services

Links to external websites and services are provided for convenience. Their availability, content, privacy practices and terms are controlled by their respective operators.

Mandatory rights and liability

Nothing in these terms limits a right or liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including applicable statutory consumer rights. Any additional limitations relating to a paid membership, event or benefit will be set out in the terms supplied before purchase or activation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory right you may have to bring a claim in another court.
